Q: Apple took my money without asking!

Apple took 1,99 euros from my bank account without my approval. I chose free 3 months trial subscription. What can I do? Android 5.1 and Windows 10.

Sony M2, Windows 10

    Greetings damekss,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

From your question, it sounds like you signed up for the three month free trial of Apple Music, but now see a charge on your account. Because of the timing and amount of this charge, it sounds like it is an authorization request and not an actual charge. This is to confirm that the card is active and funds are available.

You might see authorization requests on your online statement. These requests aren't actual charges. They are tests to confirm that your payment card account is active and has the funds available to complete your transactions. Authorization holds are removed by your financial institution shortly after your purchase clears. The time it takes to remove authorization requests varies by financial institution.

    Have a great day!
