Q: window install can't find drivers (bootcamp)

First i found problem about appleSSD.sys  someone said  use oldbootcamp 5.1.5640  (i use macbookpro 2014 mid)  to fix it


1.Using Boot Camp Assistant, prepare the USB flash drive. Select the first two items and prepare the disk. Quit Boot Camp Assistant.

2.From the Finder, delete the $WinPE$ and Boot Camp folders from the FLASH DRIVE.

3.Expand the old Boot Camp drivers (they are a zip file) on your desktop.
4.Copy the $WinPE$ and Boot Camp folders to the FLASH DRIVE.
5.Reopen Boot Camp Assistant and select only the third option, install Windows 7.
6.Sit back and relax as the installation proceeds.

 

BUT!!! is not working and i found new problem window install can't find drivers

Missing drivers for CD/DVD typically indicate a corrupted Windows ISO which has block errors. Can you verify the MD5sum/SHA1 or the downloaded ISO and match it to the appropriate value as noted below?

For W7, there is more work required using the drivers available at Install Windows 7 and earlier on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support.

    Can you post a Finder listing of the files on the USB? Please show only the first level. You only need to remove AppleSSD64 folder.

    I delete AppleSSD64 is work i can install window but i can't use trackpad or mouse ,can't connect the internet,can't see any usb  like window not have any drivers

    I try to download only drivers into flash drive but when i start window again i can't use keyboard then i can't type password to login window

     

    can you help this case , Thank you so much for first case

     

    PS. My earphone port have red LED i don't know what is it

    1. To install remaining drivers, please run setup.exe from the Bootcamp folder. Do not use the main setup.exe, which is the Windows Installer.

    2. Your earphone jack is combined analog and digital port. The red laser indicates that the port is expecting to use digital output. If you install the correct Auduo drivers, it should reset itself.

    Hi,

     

    I'm having the same issue as OP: that is, I'm trying to install Windows 7 using BootCamp (Mid 2014 MBP 15' Retina), and when it attempts to install Windows, it says that it's missing the CD/DVD drive device driver (which, as we know, the 2014 spec MBP ship without).

     

    Any ideas on how to fix the issue? I have noticed LonerT mentioning removal of the AppleSSD64 folder, but am uncertain if that relates to this case as well (let alone where it is). I'm thinking of just doing W8 instead, given the hassle that it's causing.

    I had actually grabbed those additional drivers (the Win 7 ones to replace before partitioning the drive), and had the same result. The only difference was I tried to add the ISO file on the same USB, as another community post (2012/2013, I think it was?) tried that and said it worked; but yeah, if the ISO isn't right, then that wouldn't make much difference
