My Calendar and Reminders do not display in my iMac Notification Center (running Yosemite). I think I know what the problem is. I used both Calendar and Reminders exclusively on iCloud with my old MacPro (never used the apps). When I got my new iMac, the Calendar and Reminders, as well as Notes and Contacts apps were immediately populated and available locally (it seemed) on my new system. But the Calendar and Reminders widgets do not display in Notification Center. I think this has to do with the fact that the information is synced with iCloud but not actually on my local system (even though I can edit and add to the apps locally on my iMac and it will sync with iCloud).
Can anyone confirm this, and give my some advice on how to get the widgets to work.
