I can not get my 128gb micro sdxc card to format to 128gb. I selected exFat and MS-Dos and it only formats to 24gb. I am using a Lexar card reader on my iMac.
How can I restore the card to the full 128gb?

I bought a new SanDisk MobileMate duo, as I thought my old card reader could be the problem, but that hasn't solved the issue. I'm trying to copy data off my old early 2008 core duo macbook. Any other ideas?
Where did you buy it? There are lots of counterfeits out there that don't deliver the size advertised.
No that's not it. It is from Sandisk via Newegg. I think it has to do with the Lexar card reader or something not allowing me to format the card to its fullest.
I was able to format the card on my camera to the full 128gb. But the Max via the Lexar card reader will not allow me to format the card beyond 24gb.
It sounds like you need a different card reader.
Which Lexar card reader are you using?
It is an older model. It probably needs to be replaced as it can't handle the larger sd cards....
