Dec 5, 2015 3:05 PM in response to vikas87by ZikzakCorp,You can do this, and the phone should work, but you should know a few things. For one thing, the warranty in Bahrain will not transfer to India. If anything happens, you'll need to send the phone back to an Apple Genius in Bahrain to fix it. Also, you want to make sure the iPhone is unlocked so you can use it with other carriers in India.

Dec 5, 2015 4:29 PM in response to vikas87by imobl,In addition to what ZikzakCorpposted, if Bahrain is one of the Middle Eastern
nations that bans FaceTime, you will not be able to use FaceTime in India.
The forum has many reports of people buying iPhones in the Middle East and then
finding out that the iPhone is a grey market import that is locked to an unknown
wireless provider.
Also be advised that you cannot send the iPhone back to Bahrain, but must bring
it personally or via friend/relative/co-worker. Apple does not accept international shipments
for evaluation, nor will Apple ship out of the country after repair/replacement.
Buy your iPhone in India to have a warranty and to avoid such problems.
