2 things to consider

com.paceap.kext.pacesupport.snowleopard 5.9.1

which says it is a Snow Leopard (10.6) kernel extension, however, you say you are running Yosemite (10.10). You should either remove this kernel extension, or at least get it upgraded to a version compatible with Yosemite.

Memory Module: BANK 0/DIMM0, 2 GB, DDR3, 1333 MHz, 0x02FE, 0x45424A3230554638424353302D444A2D4620

You have 3rd party RAM installed. Anytime there are kernel panics and 3rd party RAM, it is always something to consider as a possible cause.

You could run Rember overnight to see if it finds any issues.

<http://www.kelleycomputing.net/rember/>

Set Loops: [X] Maximum

It is also a good idea to just remove the 3rd party RAM and run on the original Apple RAM to see if the panic issues go away.

MacSales.com

Curcial.com

are well respected 3rd party RAM vendors.

If you have RAM from them, and if Rember finds problems, or if removing the 3rd party RAM stops the kernel panics, then contact your RAM vendor for replacement RAM.

Thank you, you are right, I upgraded my software to snow lepord in the hope that it would get rid of the panic report but it didn't solve the problem.

My 3rd party Ram has been working flawlessly for a few years already, so that shouldn't be the issue.

The issue started the day I had internet connection installed on my iMac, I downloaded some software and also think I might have hit on a questionable website, could it be that my computer was hacked?

Dec 6, 2015 8:14 PM in response to thevideolab

I upgraded my software to snow lepord in the hope that it would get rid of the panic report but it didn't solve the problem.

No, you upgraded your software to Yosemite 😁

I would look at removing the

com.paceap.kext.pacesupport.snowleopard 5.9.1

kernel extension, or getting a Yosemite compatible version. Google seems to guess it is associated with some anti-piracy software. If it is essential for some package you are using, then see about getting a version of paceap that is compatible with Yosemite.

You could experiment with Safe mode

<http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1564>

This will not load any 3rd party extensions, which is an easy way to see if it is the paceap 3rd party kernel extension.

This is an experiment, not a normal way to run your Mac.

At the time of the panic

AvidAppManHelper

was running. Is it possible Avid uses paceap ?

My 3rd party Ram has been working flawlessly for a few years already, so that shouldn't be the issue.

That does tend to give it a sense of goodness, but until you solve your problem, do not totally rule it out. I'm not pushing that as a solution, just something to not forget if all else fails to solve your problem.

The issue started the day I had internet connection installed on my iMac, I downloaded some software and also think I might have hit on a questionable website, could it be that my computer was hacked?

That should not be an issue. Macs are not that easy to hack. Not impossible by just connecting to the internet is not generally a vector. If you go something on your system, it would show up because you were tricked into installing it. And generally that is adware, which while annoying, not likely to cause a panic.

So for now, I would focus on paceap. Disable, using Safe mode, or remove it, or get a Yosemite compatible version. But my efforts would be to remove or disable to verify if the problem goes away. If it does then see about a Yosemite compatible version once you know it is the problem. Just replacing with a Yosemite compatible version and the problem does not go away does not prove it wasn't paceap. So first prove that problem goes away or does not go away when paceap is not in the picture. Then decide on how to proceed with newer version of paceap.

"AFTER" experimenting with paceap, if the problem is not solved, then proceed to post the output from EtreCheck
