I am a Computer Security student. Which Macbook should I buy?

I am following a computer security degree. So I have to create projects and all the document related things.

I like to play games on Windows OS too. But I'm not a heavy gamer.

All of my colleagues are using windows laptops.

And I have lots of photos to store and I occasionally use Photoshop and Video editing software.

And I like to have a stylish laptop. This is going to be my very first Macbook.

Since I am a computer security student, I have to Install Windows, Kali linux and Ubuntu.

So Is it a good idea to buy a Macbook? If yes, Which Macbook (Air or Pro) should I get?

( but 2015 Macbook pro doesn't have a DVD drive, Ethernet port even, Honestly tell me , is it a good idea to get a Mac?)
