After restoring from backup how do I restore safari bookmarks and reading lists?

    I understand you restored your iPad from a previous backup, but are not seeing your Bookmarks or Reading List. According to the first article below, because this information is being synced with iCloud, it is not backed contained in a backup. 

     

    Your iOS device backup only includes data and settings stored on your device. It doesn’t include data already stored in iCloud. That includes contacts, calendars, bookmarks, mail messages, notes, shared photo albums,

    However, if this data was being synced with iCloud, you should be able to enable Safari from your iCloud settings on your iPad and recover this information. 

     

    Turn on Bookmarks and update your device

    • Tap Settings > iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and make sure that Safari is on.
