Dec 7, 2015 2:35 PM in response to dipudivakarby joe_7399,Hello dipudivakar,
Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!
From your post, I understand that your iPhone is showing a battery percentage that is incorrect. To troubleshoot this situation, I would first suggest turning off the option to show Battery Percentage on your iPhone. If you need information on how to turn this feature off, the following article explains that process.
Show the battery percentage on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
After you have turned this feature off, please restart your iPhone by following the instructions in the next article.
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Once the restart has completed, turn on the option to show your Battery Percentage again and test the issue.
Cheers!

Hi Lawrence! is it normal or bug?my iPhone 6s having the same issue in battery percentage, here is my situation, when i charge my iPhone using Anker 2nd Gen E5 16000mAh from 20%-92% it took me 1.5hours to 2 hours and stuck at 95%-100% for another 2 hours to fully charge but sometimes stuck at 92% and not charging but when i connect it in wall charger it shows fully charge after 3 mins, i noticed that when i charge 20%-92% at 1.5 to 2 hours and disconnect my iPhone and connect it in wall charger after 2 to 5 mins my iPhone is fully charge, i tried to charge different device and no issue.thanks

Jan 29, 2016 3:00 AM in response to Al-kashrieby Lawrence Finch,If it charges fully using an Apple USB adapter it is working correctly. It's likely that your Anker voltage output is dropping and preventing a full charge. The only way to actually diagnose this is to get a USB power meter and monitor the voltage and current to see what is happening. You can get them on Amazon for about $20 if this is important. I charge my phone with a different power bank, and it does reach 100%.

Hi Lawrence! i tried to charged my colleague's iPhone 5s and confirm that my anker powerbank is not defective,it is successfully charged at 100% in less than 2 hours, the problem is my iPhone 6s battery percentage display, when it reached at 95% i think it is fully charged but the percentage battery display is wrong, hope iOS 9.3 will fix this issue.

Feb 7, 2016 6:08 AM in response to Al-kashrieby Lawrence Finch,9.3 isn't going to fix it, because it's not a problem with iOS, it's a problem with your phone.
Try recalibrating your battery gauge:
- Charge to as high as it will go
- Run the battery down until the phone shuts off
- If it shuts off above 1% charge it for a minute only, then continue running the battery down. Repeat until it makes it to 1% before shutting off
- Charge it to 100% again
If the battery is not defective this should fix it.

Once or twice? i read somewhere that when calibrating iPhone battery they do it twice the procedure.thanks

Feb 10, 2016 7:02 AM in response to Al-kashrieby Lawrence Finch,I've never had to do it twice, but it won't hurt. If the problem is resolved after the first cycle I wouldn't bother with a 2nd.
I think with earlier versions of iOS twice was a good idea, but they've improved the battery gauge software in later versions, and even re-calibration is rarely needed. Apple has dropped the recommendation to do it once a month from their knowledge base article.

thank you so much for your recommendation, kudos to you sir,my battery percentage display is now calibrated and fixed the issue and does not stuck at 95%-100% charging, for those who face the same issue or their battery having an abnormal display i would like to explain well Mr Lawrence's method.
- full charged your phone, use it until totally shut off (games or video calling or watch movies/youtube or flashlight)but its better not to force drain.just use it in your normal day.
- like Lawrence said if above 1% shut off, charge it for 1 minute then use it until 1% shut off achieved.
- charge your phone using power source, Once it turns back on, turn it off and continue charging for 5 hours
- turn it back on after 5 hours without disconnecting cable from power source, then after turn on,reset your phone by holding/pressing the home button and sleep/wake button simultaneously until apple logo appears.
- when boot up and you are in your home screen, disconnect power source.
