Macbook 4.1 Highest OS

I am using a MACBOOK 4.1, 2.4GHz, 6GB RAM, 250GB storage running 10.6.8. What is the highest OS I can/should upgrade to? I have delayed upgrading due to final cut versions but don't use it anymore. Norton virus will not support 10.6.8 soon and I have other reason to upgrade as well. Just using this MAC for word processing, web browsing and garageband miscellaneous work.

The most you can update to is OSx 10.7 Lion.

You'll need to buy a download code from the Apple Online Store, and then use the Mac App Store App to download and install it.
