Q: Why can't I connect to my Apple TV?

I cannot, all of a sudden, connect to Apple TV. I have been using it with wi-fi. Now it does not connect and shows a black screen. The light on the Apple TV does not come on, and air play is not available on my computer. Apple TV uses to show up in iTunes. My computer is a MacBook Pro.

Well if the ATV is black screen then AirPlay wouldn't work/be available as an option on other devices... It sounds like you will need to restore your ATV from iTunes. Restore your Apple TV using iTunes - Apple Support
