Dec 6, 2015 2:13 PM in response to David10sby etresoft,Hello Dave,
Barney-15E is correct. I sometimes see bits and pieces of old system software left over in people's EtreCheck reports. They are just bugs in Apple's software upgrade process. EtreCheck just reports what it finds. In some cases, a missing executable might be a problem, but these are harmless.
In any event, it is always best to post the entire report and describe the problem as accurately as you can. In some cases, you may have serious problems that you don't know about. Scam ware and adware are an epidemic these days. There is certainly no harm in posting the full report and it could prevent a future disaster.
