App Store "This Action could not be completed"

Hi. So I have never had this problem before but today I needed to get an app on the Mac App Store and when I went to type in my Apple ID, I got this error

I looked up fixes but the terminal thing, the new user thing and all of that stuff didn't work. Also my Apple ID works on everything else except for any system application to put in my Apple ID, and I am typing in the right Apple ID. By the way this might have something to do with it but a few weeks ago I modified my Administrator user but haven't used the App Store until today. Thanks for the help.

Can's sign in to Appstore - This action could not be completed

Worked like a charm for me. It did involved starting Terminal and typing some commands. There's an linked CNET article that explains it all, just in case you don't want to take advice from random strangers on the Internet telling you to type stuff into Terminal.

It works!
