Q: why does apple get so mad about jailbreaking??
I have heard from my friends that they wanted to get stuff fixed on their iPods/iPhones, but were denied because of their jailbreak. Why doesn't apple like people jailbreaking?
iPod touch, iOS 6.1.6, 4G

Jailbreaking is a violation of the software license agreement and cause the Apple equipment to operate in a manner not intended by Apple.
It hacks their software and introduces any number of issues that they have no control over.
If you choose to jailbreak, then you have violated the agreement and introduced software that was never intended to be run on the device, rendering it vulnerable to all kinds of problems. It seems natural that if you hack their device and violate the agreement, that you surrender all support from them.
