To access Netflix, select the App on the Apple Tv's Homescreen.

I Have my ATV plugged into HDMI 1, DirecTv in HDMI 2 and bluray into HDMI 3. Then optical audio feeds to my receiver and speakers. Depending on which device I want to view I need to change the input on my TV accordingly. Your TV remote should have an "input" or maybe "source" button that will allow you to cycle the input being displayed on ypur TV. But we all have different setups but they should be similar enough...
If you are inside the Netflix App, and simply want to exit back out to the Apple Tv's homescreen, simply press and hold the menu button on the remote for a couple seconds and then let it go. It should bring you out of the App.
If you are on the Apple Tv's Home screen, and you want to switch back to your Cable Tv, or Antenna to watch Tv, you need to change the input that is currently selected on your Tv.

We cannot answer that, as you Tv, and by extension your remotes will likely be different to ours. You need to look on your Tv's remote for a button that says "input" or maybe "source". This usually presents a menu with the input options your Tv has. You then need to select the one with your cable or antenna plugged into it.
Look in your Tv's user guide for the Input selection process. All you are doing is changing image sources.

devices does not have the ability to change the tv's input source if they did then your appletv and your say blueray or DVD Player or sat box could be changing it back and forth in an endless loop
so as stated use the remote of the tv or a universal remote such as logitech harmony line which can be programmed to send 1 command to tv 1 command to appletv and so fourth

You would need to switch inputs using your TV's remote.
As I said this is done using your TVs remote, if you are unsure you would need to refer to its manual
