Q: no pictures when trying to import

I have an Iphone 6 Plus and when I plug my phone into the computer (Windows 7) it will only find about 20 of the over 800 pictures. I have tried unlocking the phone before plugging into the computer like other people here have suggested and that does not work.

    Hi there Jacob.Nelson.1993,

     

    It sounds like you are trying to import photos to a computer but it is only seeing 20 of them as available for import. From what you describe it sounds to me like the other photos were synced over to the phone through a computer since that would explain why they aren't importable according to this article:
     

    Sync photos from your computer to your iOS device using iTunes

    • You can't reimport pictures synced from your computer to your device back to your computer. You can only import pictures taken by your device, or saved to it, from your device to your computer. If you need to retrieve synced photos from your device, email the photos from the device to yourself. Then download the photos from the emails to your computer.
