Q: 2012 Macbook 3 beeps after replace ram
Hi,
I recently got this weird glitchy screen and three beeps when i tried to start up my macbook pro. Also the beach ball has stetted appears a lot more often.
After some online searching I did the following:
- I changed around the the RAM (2x4GB RAM) and id get about a day out of it before the three beeps happened again.
- I replaced it with an 8GB RAM stick and my mac speed up but then i put it in my bag and when I took it out to start it up again i got the three beeps.
- Based on the fact it stopped working after i took it out of my bag, I picked it up, rotated it and put it back down. I then started it booted up super fast
Can anyone please provide any information on how I should proceed to remove these three beeps permanently? or is it something else that is needed to be replaced?
