I can't make a backup because there's not enough iCloud storage

Even after buying 50gb on icloud drive, it still says no space for backing up.

Of course there is enough space

Please help me find out why it happens. Thank you!

Thanks Winston.

My next back up size is 3.1 GB and I have used 135GB of 200 GB on my storage plan. icloud is set to automatically back up when plugged in, locked and on wifi but my phone will still not back up.

Any other suggestions on what is stopping the back up. My itunes wont sync either via back up or cable 😟 I'm wondering if the two problems are related

The message is this iphone has not backed up in 20 weeks. Backups happen when the phone is locked, connected to the wifi .... message

I have my phone locked, connected to wifi and plugged in, things seem to be syncing to itunes now but the only thing that does not happen is the backup so I manually back up to the computer. I have checked:

- the settings on the iphone and the back up is turned on,

- the phone is now syncing to the Mac instead of the PC

- the music, contacts, video .,.. are all turned on to sync. But the phone still wont back up. Any other suggestions?
