How to remove an app from a device with profile manager?

This worked for me, thank you. Pretty crazy though, the app (FileBrowser Business in my case) will stay on the supervised device - fully functional. Even after the Update Info command successfully listed the app for removal, it still showed available licenses.

Click the gear box then Remove Apps and select the app you wish to remove.

I initially did what you probably did which was select the app name then hit the "minus" key, which removed the app from the list, but did not delete it from the iPad, it just removed their license. Going through gear box and removing it actually deletes it from the iPad.

You may have already figured it out but I found this post without an answer after two months, and once I found the answer I thought I'd put it here.

I also have had the same issue when using the "minus" key. However when I have gone through the gear box and clicked "Remove App", the list is blank. Any ideas why?

Im Experiencing the exact same thing as davidaus. If I add with the plus sign it pushes the app. If I remove with the minus it doesn't remove it or create a task. If I go to the cog and choose remove apps no apps are listed.

If you push an update info to the devices, the app should then appear in the remove apps part in the cog section

I've got the same problems. Pushing apps to iPads works ok, but nothing listed when trying to remove. Had to do it by hand, to all the iPads !
