I've successfully printed books made in Aperture at https://photobooks.pro/ ... Not =quite= as good as Apple Print Services, but much better than not being able to use Aperture at all. (Grrr!!!) The process is basically to print the book to PDF within Aperture, then upload the PDF to photobooks.pro indicating that it was produced by Apple. THIS LAST THING IS IMPORTANT!!! When I last used the service, there was no way to print a dustcover along with a hardbound book, but I heard that may have changed.
I'm not affiliated with photobooks.pro in any way, but I =do= want to say that they have great customer service. One of the Aperture-built books I printed had a portion of the text on the cover cut off. I notified the company, sending a photo of the issue, and they reprinted it and shipped it for free.
