Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 will not run on my Mac version OS X El Capitan 10.11.1. I have reinstalled Photoshop but it shuts down when I try to open it.

What did Adobe tell you when you contacted them for support?
uninstall using the developers instructions
Mac OS, double-click the product installer in Applications\Utilities\Adobe Installers. Authenticate as an administrator, select Uninstall Components, and then follow the onscreen instructions.
reinstall.
if that does not work create a new user account with administrative rights and boot into that account.
