Q: iPhone 6 iOS 9 Bluetooth won't pair with 2013 VW Stereo

Any other VW owners experiencing the same problem after switching to iPhone 6? Dealer is useless.

My previous iPhone 4 worked ok for the most part; I could pair it, make/receive calls, play music (Media-IN & BT, although the latter sounded bad),..etc, and when it did not work I blame VW SW/HW for those issue while plugged in. But nothing with iPhone 6. The car stereo BT doesn't see it. And then there's the other problem - wrong cable/connector. I can't even plug it in now. Maybe that was part of the paring process? Doesn't make sense for BT. So not only is the cable obsolete, I'm sure there will be paring/syncing issues even if I do get it paired/connected somehow since VW has not had any SW updates for it. I tried last year when I was fed with it disconnecting, losing control features,..etc, but no updates at dealer (of course they faulted me, the phone, and anything else). What a surprise. This is the major drawback to technology in cars - it's obsolete as soon as you drive off the lot and nothing gets updated, let alone upgraded, while you're devices do. Solution: buy a new car. Now to find a new cable, or adapter if possible. I want to play music! If anyone can help, has info, please post.
