slow streaming

I recently bought the 32gb 4th gen ATV. My experience at first was great and the only change in my environment was the new ATV. I have a very simple setup with my ATV cable connected to a 10meg line giving me a constant 9,4meg.(This has been the same for 2years now) I watch hulu and netflix without a glitch on the new ATV, games work fine and family sharing seems to work on photos and music. I still have my older 3rd gen ATV and recently experienced very very slow movie streaming from iTunes library specifically.(For both rental and punched movies and series) At first I thought it was just my provider, so I logged a call to check and reset my IP, just in case. I monitored the response for a few weeks, and found no change. I then proceeded with the run of the mill process of rebooting and restarting of both ATV and router. I continued doing this for a week, no change. So finally just for my own sanity I disconnected the 4th gen ATV and setup my 3rd gen ATV in the same environment. To my surprise there was a drastic improvement, where movies use to load for hours on the 4th gen ATV, now loaded and played almost instantly on the 3rd gen ATV. My very loose conclusion of this setup is that there must be some configuration I'm missing on my 4th gen ATV or there must be a different way the new TVos communicates.

Please assist me with this, as I would prefer to use my new ATV.
