Q: My battery percentage is not accurate, I'll leave it charged over night, I wake up and it's on 80 so then I have to shut my phone off for it to be accurate. Also my alarm clocks do not go off and it's starting to be a problem.

I need a solution to my unaccurate battery percentage and help with fixing my alarm clocks they don't go off

    Hi there alara11,

It sounds like your phone battery isn't showing the correct charge, and your alarms don't seem to be going off when you have them set to. We should be able to resolve that with software troubleshooting, so I would start by quitting the Settings and Clock app:

Force an app to close in iOS
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201330

    1. Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps.
    2. Swipe left to find the app you want to close.
    3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.

When you have done that force restart the device with the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons as outlined in the following article, and test the issues again:

iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

I don't think it will, but if the issue persists, backup your device to iTunes, then restore it as new and verify that it works.

If it does, then restore your backup to either verify it still works and the software just needed reinstalled, or isolate the issue to the backup file itself. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities, let us know how that goes!
