Q: Apple TV 3 frequently crashes and restarts while streaming from Netflix

This occurs at least once during a movie. After it automatically restarts you must work your way back to the content you were viewing and resume watching. This is happening so frequently now that it is becoming very annoying.

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular (VZ), iOS 5.1.1

I'd suggest doing an iTunes restore Restore your Apple TV using iTunes - Apple Support

I will give this a try, but I am not sure I have all the right cables, so it may wait until I schedule a a visit to the Genius Bar.
