I have a Tascam US- 144 MKII Audio Interface which will not show up in Garage Band since i Switched to El Capitan.Why

I have a TASCAM US-144MKIIAudio Interface which I use on Garage Band to produce and copy from Receiver. When I plug in,a window used to come up "External device detected, do you want to use?" when replying yes, it would switch from internal microphone to MKII. Since switching to El Capitan, nothing is happening.

Mac will not recognize? or what. What can I do?

contact Tascam or see if there is a forum, it appears the device may not be compatible with OS 10.11 and they would know before we either guess or another user with the same device happens to see this post

secondly it's a bad idea to use your email unless you want to generate tons of spam and junk mail.
