How do I redeem an album gifted to me on itunes?

I was gifted an album on itunes. It won't let me redeem, because every time I click the redeem button on the email, it just sends me to the itunes website asking me to download itunes. I already have itunes on my computer....

My guess is that Internet Explorer isn't your default browser. Try copying the link in the email and paste it into the address bar in Internet Explorer. This should then open iTunes if not already open, and take you to the correct screen to redeem your gift.
