How to install and dual boot Os 9 & os 10.4 on ibook g4?

This came up in many ways, and I have tried a lot of suggestions out there.

But I have not suceeded. I made two partitions on my ibook g4 hardrive, then installed tiger on one.

But I cannot install (from CD) or boot os 9 (even copying System folder from an ibook g3) on the other partition.

I'm getting close, but running out of ideas. Anything?

An iBook G4 can't boot to Mac OS 9.

But, apparently an ibook G3 can boot in Mac OS 10. (this would be my next topic)

Correct, the iBook G3 was the last iBook to be able to dual boot Mac OS X and Mac OS 9.

iBook G4 could use Classic, but only up to Mac OS X 10.4.11.
