My screen is black. Apple support says I need to send it to them. They would call back in 15 minutes with address. Didnt happen. I called 3 times. Noone called back. They won't send out of country. Ive had Apple products since the 80's. Very frustrated and disappointed. Time is of the essence.

Sorry about your problem. We don't have any control over apple or it's store as this is just a users forum. If you get any startup chime but no screen, you could also try a pram reset. Which is Command/Option/P/R keys and power button at startup for three chimes. You might also find this helpful. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203207 In Carolyn's post , in the link there is a link to try an SMC reset. You should try that also.
no one calls back. Have given no 3 times. Dead Macbook pro in Antigua. 1-1/2 years left on warranty.
