Q: Apple Watch update 2.1
Downloaded three or four times an update fails, says I am not connected to the internet. I had to be to download the update.
Did I miss something?

Hi Bob - try the update again after each of the following:
On your iPhone, close the Watch app and all other open apps (double-press on the Home button, swipe up on each app preview).
Remove your watch from the charger and restart both devices, turning both off together and restarting your iPhone first.
- To turn your watch off: press and hold the side button, then drag the Power Off slider.
- To turn it back on: press and hold the side button until you see the logo.
Try resetting the network settings on your iPhone (you will need to re-establish your Wi-Fi connection afterwards, so have your password to hand):
- Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
If neither of those helps, try unpairing and re-pairing your watch. The Watch app on your iPhone takes watch backups automatically, including a fresh one when unpairing via the app. Choose to Restore from Backup when offered the option during set up. Most data and settings will be restored, with some exceptions (eg Apple Pay cards, passcode).
- Unpair your Apple Watch and iPhone - Apple Support
- Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support
Before re-trying the update, replace your watch on the charger with power connected (and ideally also connect your iPhone to power).
