I read that update today updated Apple remote control app to work with Apple tv4. Any one has tried and if yes, how to make it work because I can't. Unless you have a real answer, please don't bother to write. Thank you.

I did nothing to make it work. Updated ATV4 to tvOS 9.1, updated iPhone to 9.2, launched remote app on iPhone and the ATV4 just showed up and worked.

Just follow the normal instructions to enable homeshare and it should work. If you had it installed previously (i.e. if you had an older ATV), as morrispe notes, it will automatically work once you install the 9.1 update on the ATV4. There is nothing "special" you need to do to get it to work...

Simply updating worked for me also, although I had used the app previously and already had home sharing enabled (which is required for it to work)
