Canon Printer MG7760 not supported by my Mac OS X, any ideas on how to fix?

Purchased a new printer Canon MG7760, when I went to setup it says my computer version does not support this printer?

I have a 4 year old Mac OS X 10.6.8

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Hello Vinhh,
I understand that you are having issues with your new printer and your iMac running OS X Snow Leopard. Let's see what can be done about that.
Looking at the system requirements for your printer, you would need at least OS X Lion which is 10.7 to install that printer. It is compatible with the latest version of OS X: El Capitan. You can upgrade your iMac to the latest version for free. Check the system requirements and the article below to walk you through installing OS X El Capitan.

The next link is to Canon's website for your exact printer. For the drivers, it will auto populate your version of OS X to get you the right driver if it is available.
