Q: cannot get second monitor to connect after upgrading operating systems

Since updating the latest operating system , I cannot get my second monitor to connect.  Any help would be greatly appreciated

iMac, iOS 9.2

    I see that you are not able to connect to your external display after upgrading your OS. You can start with this article to troubleshoot the issue:

    Get help with video issues on external displays connected to your Mac

     

    If you continue to have issues after working through this article, please post back with more specific information. What computer and OS X version you are using. What kind of external display. What happens when you are trying to connect, do you get any image, etc. We can see where we might need to go at that point.
