I understand that you would like to back up your contacts that is on your iPhone. That is something that I can help you out with.
The best way is to make a backup in iTunes or iCloud. This will back up everything or a selection of your choosing. This is helpful if you need to move to a new iPhone as it will put your content back on for you.
Another option is to sync the data. With your iPhone plugged in to your computer, open up iTunes. Locate your iPhone and look in the Info tab to see your syncing options for your contacts.
Take at look at the first two articles for transferring content as well as syncing content to and from your iPhone.

Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes using USB

If you use iCloud to sync your contacts, then those will already be in the cloud and you will be good to. If your data is on iCloud and you want to save it to your PC, take a look at the next article below that goes over how to export it to your computer.
Archive or make copies of your iCloud data
