FYI You may need to re-install your Ethernet device after 10.11.2 upgrade

After upgrading from El Capitan 10.11.1 to the latest .2 version this morning, my 2015 13" MacBook Pro no longer recognized my Ethernet connection.

After running Network Preferences and changing the the Port back to Ethernet, I re-installed the driver for my Ethernet device (SimpleDock AX88179), and added it to my Network devices in Network Preferences. It was recognized when I clicked + under the list of devices. I then choose Ethernet in Preferences and my connection was restored.

Just a tip if you lose your connection after this upgrade, might save you 20 minutes of head scratching.
