The worst part of this is that iOS 9.2 was supposed to fix the problems when making playlists offline. This update is a disaster! All the playlists or albums I try to make offline are partially downloaded.. Apple Music is going from bad to worse.

I can't say about the music disappearing - I re-did my downloaded playlists right after the update, but the offline option has moved. Instead of being in the drop down menu you get by tapping the three dots, there is now a little cloud symbol with a down-pointing arrow that shows either when you tap on the name of an album or playlist. That is the new download symbol. Confused me too.

This is a great suggestion but I don't see that option when browsing Music using the music app. I am attaching two screen shots. The first is when searching for a album by the artist "Darkest Hour" and the second is when I click the 3 dots like I used to. There does not appear to be a cloud icon. Please let me know if I should try anything different.

I also followed this article, Add music from the Apple Music catalog to your library on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC - Apple Support

and observed that it details to click the 3 dots.

You will also notice that using OSX 10.11.1 and iTunes 12.3.2 the option to "download for offline use" is missing, however there are options to "add to my music"

which is not available using iOS 9.2

That is because first you have to hit the + sign to add anything to your iCloud Music Library. Then a cloud symbol with a arrow pointing down appears

that you tap to make the song/album available offline.

Ag you first have to select add to my music library as always. Then the option to download will appear.

Yes, you are correct...but additionally I learned the hard way that to DL a song, versus an entire album, you cant think of the ellipsis the same way.  If you view an entire album and you decide you want the entire thing, you must click on the + sign at the top of the page, next to the album name.  If you want just 2 of the songs, then you must click on the ellipsis next to the song time, just past the duration of the song.  I was frustrated bec I knew I had DLan entire album, but only one song showed up!  grrrr...apple never explains things well.  ANd if you have just a few songs from an album and you decide that you want the entire album instead, you have to delete the songs off that album out of your MY MUSIC, and then go back to album in catalog and DL wit the + sign at top of album .  It wont let you just add the rest of the songs.  I find this irritating.  APPLE needs to get their act together...i cant belive they say its intuitive, when it SURE AIN'T!

I Have ios 9.3.5 and a lot of my songs that were downloaded were undownloaded and dont have the option to redownload them anymore. Its annoying. I paid for apple music and i cant even listen to it offline
