Hello guys, it would be nice to contact apple for an update release that includes a dark or better a black keyboard.
I contacted the apple team so i hope for a good answer.
Can you do it too?
It would be very very useful and i will be thankful.
Reasons:
1. The battery will have more power, because it will not consume so much battery for the brightness for the display.
2. At day and night it will have a nice contrast, and better for reading.
I hope that one day my advice and wish goes in reality!
Do you guys agree with me?`
No, I don't agree at all. The difference in the amount of battery life used by a white versus black keyboard is insignificant. White on black is much harder to read. However, if you want such a keyboard, do as Mr. Peck suggested and download one. There's no need for Apple to re-create what already exists.

Dec 9, 2015 11:33 AM in response to Meg St._Clairby Rambo009,Thanks to the replies, but when you mean on third party apps like swiftkey and other apps, then i wouldn't download. I know that it exists in that way, and i tried it before... some of these apps are full of bugs so no thanks.
I would like have original from apple.

Other than the fact that I don't care for either Swype or Swiftkey's basic operational premise, I haven't found that there's anything wrong with the apps. There are so keyboard apps out there, I can't believe all of them are completely buggy. However, it's up to you.

It's zero. The screen is backlit, and the entire screen lighting is on even when the screen is all black.
