Exclude an app from silent mode or 'do not disturb' mode?

I've just got a home security system (Canary), and it has an app that alerts you to activity via push notification. However, obviously during the night the only way to wake up to this is to have you iPhone on loud, although I'd rather not due to being woken up by emails, texts etc.

So is there a way to put the phone into silent mode or do not disturb mode, and still receive notifications from one specific app?

Thanks.

There is no way to include, or exclude apps from Do Not Disturb. Do Not Disturb silences all applications. Silent mode will mute all alerts, and would allow you to hear a vibration, but not a sound. I'm not aware of any way to do this at this time, unless there is something specific to the app for silent mode that I am not aware of, such as how the alarm will still sound if the device is on silent.
