Text Messages Reading Certain Words Out Loud As I Type

For the last week or so, while typing text messages, either with my iphone enable headset or without, my iphone will read Auto-Correct words out loud. For instance, if I type in "goot" and Auto-Correct wants to change it to "got," it will read "got" aloud.

Any idea how to shut off this "functionality?"

This is really annoying on public transportation, at work, basically anywhere where I need to be quiet and not have my phone shout at me.
