The AppleTV icon for the 3rd Gen stop appearing in the Remote App after the new update, this despite that it still showed as paired to my Apple TV 3rd Gen. I had to manually pair the remote app with the 3rd Gen, even though it automatically paired to my 4th Gen device easily. Despite this, it still doesn't work. I have an iTunes logo signifying my 3rd Gen rather than the black box that it used to show, and the black box shows as the icon for the 4th gen. But no text appears underneath the icon. I have two other icons on the remote app. One for my Library and one for the 4th Gen. My Home Sharing is enabled. I am on the same Wifi with all the devices. iTunes is running on my computer.
So the new Remote App appears to have enabled the 4th Gen and disabled the 3rd Gen.
