Q: How do you get the Pairing feature on IOS to display the Passkey dialogue screen?

When I attempt to Pair my keyboard with my iPhone (HID profile) the dialogue screen respective to the Passkey handshake between the two devices does not appear.

If you "guess" the Passkey and type it into the keyboard, the Passkey dialogue screen flashes briefly on the iPhone and is quickly replaced with a Pairing failure message.

To see the Passkey dialogue screen you must use a video recording device (camera on another phone) and review the movie to read the screen... however by the time you are presented with this screen you have already had to guess (incorrectly) the Passkey and enter it into the keyboard.

Summery; Why is the Passkey dialogue screen suppressed and how does an iPhone user correct this problem allowing the successful pairing of the keyboard?

Please do not assume I am using an Apple keyboard, this is not about the keyboard it's about the suppressed Passkey dialogue screen.

Please try to keep your responses targeted to the actual problem and whatever you suggest, please do not cast the issue off onto the 3rd party keyboard. It's the iPhone failing to properly execute the Bluetooth Pairing handshake.
