Q: Trackpad not responding

i bought my trackpad a couple of months ago and i just assumed i didn't really know how to connected so i placed it away and kept using my magic mouse and i just wanted to try it out again and notice that its still doing the same thing it connects to my computer but doesn't respond so i'am assuming i purchased a default...

If the trackpad you bought isn't responding, I recommend going through the troubleshooting steps in If your Apple wireless mouse, keyboard, or trackpad aren't working as expected.
