From your post, it sounds like you either have subtitles or closed captioning enabled for this foreign film. I would suggest shipping down during playback and then to the right to check these settings.
- Video: Swipe down during playback, then swipe right to browse available options. If available, you'll see settings like subtitles, closed captioning, video chapters, audio, and speaker settings.
