After double tapping the album art for the lyrics, I tried to tap the lyrics away but they wouldn't go away. They are frozen there at the album art section, even if I change the song, it's still the same lyrics of the previous song. Please help!

It sounds like the Music app isn't responding based off your descriptions even though music is still playing. Anytime you are seeing unexpected behavior or an app not responding, you will want to force close the application. You can do the but double pressing the Home button to bring up the recently used apps and swipe of on Music. Relaunch the Music app and you should see that the lyrics are not covering the album artwork.
