How do I download ringtones to my iphone 5 through itunes?

How do I download ringtones to my iphone 5 through itunes? I really miss my ringtones that I had through the Zedge app and I would love to have them on my iphone ad I have tried and tried and it let me save them within the Zedge app, but they do not appear on my ringtones list. This si my first iphone can someone with vast experience with this process PLEASE help me out. I will be ever so grateful. Thanks in advance.

Click on the ellipsis tool ... to enable sources and put a tick against Tones. Ring tones added to the library should show here. Files should be in aac format with a .m4r file extension and less than 40 seconds long. Drag to the library or make use of the Automatically Add to iTunes folder. Once files are listed in Tones they can be added to your device.
