Q: Upgrade from MAC Pro Tower to new MAC Pro

I presently have a MAC Pro Tower, and will be upgrading to the new MAC Pro, probably within 6 months.

At present, I have 1 SSD HD (with programs and OS on it), and 3 regular Hard Drives internally.  One of the internal HD's contains the data from my programs, while the other two are used for backups, etc.

Here are my questions:

I am planning on going with the 256 GB SSD drive in the new MAC Pro, but my question is can I get another internal HD (SSD, or otherwise) to store my data?

I am planning on removing the other HD's and using them for external storage, should I have any problems accessing these drives with the new MAC Pro?

I presently have 3 external HD's used for storing photos and movies, will I still her able to use them with the new MAC Pro?

I have external speakers, bought at the Apple Store, will they work with the new MAC Pro?

I have several printers, and one scanner on my current MAC Pro Tower, will they work on the new MAC Pro?

I would like to just move the stuff from my present MAC Pro Tower (Programs, OS, Data) to the new MAC Pro, is this something that Apple can do for me?

Needless to say, I am grateful for any help I can get in this matter.

Thank you.

Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), 16 gig RAM, 5 tb storage, 240 gb SS

1- the 2013 Mac Pro cylinder can only have  one internal storage device. Another one can't be added.

I would opt for the 500 GB one.

2- Likley yes but yo did not specify how they are connected tot he silver tower. The 2013 Mac has four USB 3 ports and six Thunderbolt ports you can get a Thunderbolt>FireWire adopter

    3- See # 2

4- Yes the speaker, if either USB or 3.5 mm plug will work

5- The printer and scanner will work if there are drivers that support El Capitan. You did not specify the OSX version on your silver tower

6- I have heard rumors that you will have to now pay Apple to move info to a new system but you will have to check. You can do it yourself. It is not that hard. See:
