Setting up archive mail with gmail on iOS and yosemite mail

Hi All,

I can't seem to set up archive mail with gmail on iOS v9 and yosemite mail and get them all going to the same folder. in iOS when I gesture left and archive the mail ends up in IOS GMAIL ALL MAIL - which only shows the archived ones (I don't want to see everything) - but I would rather it went to a hand made one called ARC2 that I can see in other devices also.

I went to settings gmail advanced and set the archive folder to = ARC2 and move discarded to archive - so i would think it should work - but it does not.

Also I see [IMAP]/Archive but I can't get that to show on IOS...

I don't want to bog down mail by seeing gmail ALL MAIL (everything) so I'd like to skip that on all devices except the web browser...

I guess my point is after I swipe to archive - it seems to go to ALL MAIL - but then I can't see it on MAC MAIL because I don't want to activate ALL MAIL (too big)

How do I get this all set up right in apple mail and iOS mail?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.0.2, null

Hi all - was I unclear?

I still could use some help with this...

IN IOS apple mail - I want to be able to swipe to archive GMAIL (which seems only to go to gmail ALL MAIL ONLY CHOICE) - but then be able to view the mail in apple Yosemite WITHOUT activating ALL MAIL - which has way to many items that I don't want to see

So the problem is that I can't seem to get IOS apple mail to archive to any other folder label - they don't work and always just go to ALL MAIL ONLY

Any Fixes for this?

Thanks in advance

Dave
