Can't connect to Konica Minolta Bizhub printer from El Capitan
Our church has an old Konica Minolta Bizhub C220 multifunction copier/printer that works fine with macs running up to 10.10 Yosemite. We just hired a new pastor who has 10.11 El Capitan on his iMac and we cannot connect to the printer. We use a wireless network and I have tried typing in the IP address of the printer but keep getting the message that there was a failure in communicating with the printer. I had the exact same problem with a laptop that had a clean install of 10.11 on it and the only solution I found was to roll back to Yosemite, which works flawlessly. It does not seem to be a driver issue since it can't even communicate with the printer, let alone set it up to print. I did download the latest drivers I could find and according to one document that I found, they should work with 10.11 but that made no difference. In summary, two machines both with El Capitan, neither one can see the printer via IP address or Bonjour. Any ideas? I really don't want to have to back up and install Yosemite if I don't have to!
