Dec 10, 2015 5:13 PM in response to lapdretby Carolyn Samit,Data is not saved to iCloud via the Finder.
You can upload data by going to iCloud.com then sign in.
That data should then be available on your Mac and iPad.

Dec 10, 2015 5:18 PM in response to Carolyn Samitby lapdret,Got you on that but here is the problem.
A new program I use transfers files to my iPad via iCloud. In order to do this I have to use the "save as" and then select iCloud from finder. However, iCloud is not on my sidebar and when I open preferences in finder it is no where to be found.

Dec 11, 2015 4:35 PM in response to Eric Rootby lapdret,Eric,
The problem I have is that the iCloud icon or name is no where to be found in Finder preferences. I have the iCloud icon available in Safari to see what is running on my iPad. If I open iCould in System preferences it shows I am logged in and everything backing up is shown.
Thanks for the response.
