Q: Why do videos take so long to load on my macbook in my photo library?

When I go to my photo library on my macbook videos that I have taken on my Iphone show up in the library. However when I click on them to play the videos I get an hour glass or a circle that appears. It takes several minutes for videos to load. Can anyone help as to why this happens? Thanks!

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.0.2

It could depend on the settings that you are uploading your photos at. You can check those in your settings on your iPhone. Settings>Photos & Camera> Record Video > then the settings you are recording at... with your 6s you could be recording 4K videos which would take a bit to load on your Mac.
